AUBURN UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION BOARD NOMINATIONS

Among the most important functions of a university foundation is the identification and recruitment of the directors who form the Foundation Board. The selection of directors will determine the success of the Foundation in investments, fundraising, financial management, administration, and endowment growth. Careful selection of Board members with appropriate skill sets will have a tremendous impact not only on the Foundation, but also on the future of the University.
Each member of the Auburn University Foundation Board of Directors is unique in his or her strengths and abilities. Each director in his or her own way has the capacity to advance the University through advocacy in the community and as an advocate for philanthropy

  1. Attend three Board meetings: one in the winter, fall, and spring. Incoming Directors, as well as Committee Chairs, are required to attend New Director Orientation which is scheduled for January.
