Davidson earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Auburn University in 1987 and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama in 1989. He is retired from BBVA Compass Bank where he served as Vice President and Chief Investment Strategist.

Davidson formerly served on the Business Advisory Council. He is a member of the College of Business Shareholder’s Club, the 1856 Society, and the Foy Society (15 Years).
